The 2015-17 committee of administration of India’s Gem Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was formed on 16 October 2015. Praveenshankar Pandya of Diamond India Ltd is elected as chairman and Russell Mehta of Rosy Blue (India) Pvt Ltd vice chairman.
Regional chairpersons are Prakash Chandra Pincha (eastern region), Mahendra Kumar Tayal (southern region), Ashok Gajera (western region), Anil Sankhwal (northern region), Dinesh Navadiya (Gujarat region), and Pramod Kumar Agrawal (Jaipur region).
Members of the diamond panel committee are Ajesh Mehta, Dilip Shah and Manish Jivani (general category), Saunak Parikh, Anil Virani, Sanjay Shah and Kirit Bhansali (status holder category), and Nirav Bhansali (micro small and medium enterprises category).
Members of the jewellery & other precious metal jewellery panel are Mansukhlal Kothari (general category), K Srinivasan and Shailesh Sanghani (status holder category), and Balram Garg (special economic zone category).
Members of the coloured gemstones & pearls panel are Kishan Das Maheshwari and Vijay Kedia (general category).
