Swiss luxury jewellery brand Chopard has recently launched an extension to the ‘Imperiale’ line called Empress Jewellery Box which consists of five items namely earrings, a head band, a wristwatch, a necklace and a ring, each carried the iconic ‘Impérial’ motif in a unique way. The wristwatch, for instance, the diamond-set pattern is above the watch crystal. The case is encircled by baguette diamonds and the lugs are set with brilliant-cut diamonds also with the ‘Impérial’ motif. The strap is presented in a pleated purple damask fabric on which the collection’s emblematic motif appears in embroidery. The remaining four items feature faceted amethysts and diamonds, exuding a sense of stately majesty.
Since 2010, ‘Imperiale’ has become a flagship range of Chopard’s feminine watchmaking. In 2011, the ‘Imperiale’ watch inspired a highly sophisticated collection of jewellery set in rose or white gold with amethysts, which, according the brand, has been the colour of emperors since the Byzantine era.
