Hong Kong Sotheby’s fine jewels and jadeite sale on 2 December 2015 realised a total of HK$ 41,878,750/US$ 5,370,000.
The top lot was a diamond ring set with a 5.04-carat fancy vivid yellow internally flawless clarity diamond sold for HK$2,480,000/US$318,000. Other star lots included a platinum ring set with a 5.19-carat step-cut emerald and diamonds sold for HK$1,750,000/ US$225,803 and a pair of diamond pendant earrings set with a pear-shaped fancy intense yellow diamond weighing 4.05 and 3.92 carats which sold for HK$1,250,000/ US$161,288.
