Yoram Dvash was elected as president of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) on 16 December.
In the biennial presidency election, he received 1,080 out of 1,886 votes, while the remaining votes went to the other candidate Arnon Yuval.
Dvash is a member of the Israel Diamond Manufacturers Association (IsDMA) and is an arbitrator in the Legal Department. His company Dvash Diamonds has been listed as a leading Israeli diamond exporter for the last five years. Aged 51, Dvash is married with three children.
