Penang Gold Signature Fair (PSG) 2016, co-organised by Elite Expo Sdn Bhd and P W Gold & Silver Ornament Merchants Association, will be held from 10 to 12 August at Penang Straits Quay Convention Centre, Penang, Malaysia.
Positioned as the first-ever international gold-focus trade show in the Southeast Asian region, PSG aims to promote Malaysia’s gold craftsmanship while magnifying the country’s potential in the gold market to a global stage, according to Elite Expo.
PSG provides a wide variety of Malaysia-made gold jewellery in different karat or fineness such as 22-karat, 21-karat, 18-karat, 916 gold, etc. Gold coins, gold bars, jewellery-making tools and machinery will also be the focus of the exhibition.
“Malaysia aspires to become a world’s major gold jewellery supplier as Malaysia’s labour charges for per gram of gold are much lower than other countries especially China. Thus, PSG is ambitious to become the most renowned gold-focus trade show in Malaysia and across the region to promote Malaysia gold craftsmanship, allowing both exhibitors and delegates to establish solid networking connections and business deals while to keep abreast with the most up-to-date gold industry insights,” said the organisers.
