As the second trade show of jewellery made in Italy organised by Arezzo Fiere e Congressi, the fourth edition of Gold/Italy ended in 24 October 2016 in line with expectations and registered 7,500 visitors, an increase of eight percent over the previous year, a very significant figure in view of the delicate moment going through the export gold and especially important markets such as the UAE and North Africa.
“The balance between the gold and fashion combination is on the rise this year, bearing fruit and the attention of buyers from countries attending for the first time in our district, such as India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain confirmed that the Italian jewellery is a value for international buyers,” stated Andrea Boldi, president of Arezzo Fiere e Congressi. “We are confident that orders will turn end of the year sales positive.”
In addition to the collections of more than 280 companies from all Italian gold districts, among other new items in this edition is the Visions Project designed by five renowned international fashion week designers and presented in the gold and precious accessories pavilion, under a concept of the ideally designed multi-brand showroomwhere innovative collections in gold, silver and bronze are showcased.
