Koin International Diamond Tenders will hold its first polished diamond tender during the International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI), from 13-16 February 2017, in cooperation with the new International Tender Center at the Israeli bourse. Koin International specialises in tenders of rough and polished diamonds.
Adam Schulman, CEO of Koin International said: “We are delighted to expand our rough and polished diamond operations to Israel, and look forward to a successful week for buyers and sellers.”
Yoram Dvash, Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) president said: “I am pleased that Koin International will be holding a tender in Israel for the first time, and that they have taken a strategic decision to cooperate with our International Tender Center. I believe that we will see many more tenders by Koin International here in the future.”
Schulman said that the company will be bringing an exciting assortment of polished diamonds, with lots covering a spectrum of sizes, colours and qualities, including parcels and single stones (certified and uncertified). “This is an excellent sourcing and purchasing opportunity,” he added.
International Diamond Week in 2017 will focus on tenders of rough and polished diamonds by major producers and independent suppliers. In keeping with Israel’s rising status as a diamond tender hub, the IDE will officially inaugurate its new International Tender Center during the week. Located in the bourse complex, the centre will be a state-of-the-art venue for rough and polished tenders by a variety of suppliers under one roof and will offer a variety of value-added services.
The international tenders, in addition to the huge variety of goods on offer by hundreds of Israeli and international exhibitors, are expected to attract several hundred more buyers than before. Moreover, IDWI will offer a rich social programme including free sightseeing to Jerusalem and the Dead Sea. As in the past buyers are being offered free accommodations for three nights in nearby hotels.
