The inaugural Thailand Gems & Jewelry Fair (TGJF) 2017 will commence tomorrow till 18 June at Impact Challenger 2, Muang Thong Thani, Bangkok.
According to the Thai Gem and Jewelry Traders Association (TGJTA), show organiser, a total of 1,200 booths will be filled up by 600 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions. An estimate of 30,000 visitors from 125 countries and regions will attend the fair for a wide array of exhibits ranging from jewellery, loose stones and equipment.
Four featured zones namely Gold Street, Silver Street, Gems Street and Diamond & Jewelry Street are designed to enhance Thailand’s position as the a jewellery trading hub.
A series of seminars will be held during the fair on quality standards of precious gemstones, trends in Thai jewellery designs, etc. World-renowned designer Alessio Boschi will give a speech on the art of Thai craftsmanship and exploring the global markets.
