Israel-based Sarine Technologies announced on 28 August 2017 that its digital Sarine Profile report will include 4Cs grading and diamond identification.
Apart from light performance, the hearts-and-arrows pattern and 3D imaging, the enhanced Sarine Profile report will also include 4Cs grading and information on whether the diamond is synthetic or treated (optional).
To obtain the above data, the company will grade the diamonds using its Sarine Clarity, Sarine Color, Diamension HD cut-grading device as well as Sarine Light light-performance tool. As everything is measured automatically, the company said the new offering can deliver an unmatched quality of diamond grading with less subjectivity and fewer human errors.
Sarine is collaborating with Swiss gem lab GGTL Laboratories on further validation of its automated grading technologies and ongoing research.
“The days of dry, technical, non-intuitive diamond reports are coming to an end. Sarine’s new reports can provide consumers with a more reliable and coherent way to buy diamonds and diamond jewelry, and can support the entire diamond pipeline with a new level of accuracy, objectivity and repeatability,” said Sarine’s CEO David Block.
