HK watch design contest winners announced

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) announced the winners of the 34th Hong Kong Watch & Clock Design Competition on 29 August 2017. A total of over 200 entries competed to get the nod from a panel of nine judges.

Themed ‘Luxury Automobile’, the open group was crowned by Tam Kwok Tung whose Roadster (photo 1) features a crown on the face and streamline design. The special rotational case gives the best visibility to the wearer when driving. Arche (photo 2), designed by Ho Wing Ki from Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, was the champion of the student group (themed ‘Future Luxury’). The design reminds people of treasuring our water resources.
