The final of the ‘2017 International Design Competition on Trendy Fei Cui Jewellery’ and the ‘Hong Kong Students Design Competition on Fei Cui Jewellery in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Reunification of Hong Kong with China’ was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 30 October.

Judges said the quality of the entries were remarkable with the appropriate use of Fei Cui, innovative ideas, rich imagination, sophisticated drawing technique, craftsmanship and market acumen. The substantial number of outstanding entries have resulted in keen competition. Selected winning designs were worn by supermodel Kathy Chow after judging.
The award presentation ceremony of the ‘Hong Kong Students Design Competition on Fei Cui Jewellery in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Reunification of Hong Kong with China’ will be held on 3 November, Friday, at the multi-purpose hall WP01 of EMB’s Kowloon Tong Education Services Centre. The 30 winners will be invited to a complimentary tour to Beijing in 2018 to appreciate Chinese culture, arts and history. The tour is sponsored by HKJJA.
The award presentation ceremony of the ‘2017 International Design Competition on Trendy Fei Cui Jewellery’ is scheduled for 12 November in Beijing. Apart from cash awards, winners will receive a certificate with autographs of the celebrated judges as well as an opportunity to publish their winning designs in major trade media in the Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The ‘2017 International Design Competition on Trendy Fei Cui Jewellery’ is organised by the National Gems & Jewelry Technology Administrative Center, the Gems & Jewelry Trade Association of China, HKJJA, the Republic of China Gemological Association, and the Taiwan Creative Jewellery Designer Association, and co-organised by China Gems Magazine, Hong Kong Jewellery Magazine Ltd, and Jewelry World Magazine (Taiwan). Overwhelming support to the Competition comes from diamond sponsor Gold Uni Jewellery Company Limited & Golden Pinya International Investment Company Limited, Jadmily Jewelry Corporation Limited and Lu Sheng Sheng Jewellery.
The ‘Hong Kong Students Design Competition on Fei Cui Jewellery in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Reunification of Hong Kong with China’ is organised by HKJJA. Chow Tai Fook Master Studio is the platinum sponsor of the Competition.
