Japanese pearl jeweller Mikimoto has recently unveiled Les Pétales de Ginza Collection which is inspired by a beautiful and delicate petal dancing in a spring breeze in Ginza, Tokyo. Set in 18-karat pink gold with Japanese akoya pearls, South Sea pearls and diamonds, the collection represents the brand’s more than 110-year presence in Ginza, one of the world’s leading luxurious districts.
The silhouette of heart-shaped petal is outlined smoothly with a slightly curve surface which reveals the genuine beauty of nature. On the three-dimensional petal, the basic geometric concept of point-line-surface is applied to the diamonds setting. Diamonds were set to create a slowly flowing scene of petals in a gleaming but peaceful way. And the glitter of diamonds and the mirror-like pink gold brings the contrasty glamour, said the brand.
The collection offers chain pearl necklace, pendant, bracelet and earrings. The chain pearl necklace features akoya pearls and white South Sea pearls. According the brand, the pearls possess their unique luster and colour, this reflects the techniques of pearl sorting and matching of Mikimoto to ensure the jewellery is shining perfectly and harmoniously.
