The Perth Mint has paired up 0.08 carat Argyle pink diamond and the Pink Panther in the latest creation- Pink Panther 2018 1oz Pink diamond ingots.
Both sides of the ingot were handset with two totally weighed 0.08 carat pink diamonds in colour grades between fancy intense to vivid purplish pink. 35 ingots crafted with 1oz of 99.95 percent pure platinum are available now while 300 ingots which are in 91.67 percent pure pink gold will be available in May. Each ingot is encased in a translucent replica diamond bedded inside a luxurious black presentation case. The ingot’s artistry is as playful as the Pink Panther’s character, tail of the Pink Panther wraps around the ingot to appear on the obverse.
Originally, the Pink Panther was the name of an enormous and valuable pink diamond, which the flaw at the diamond centre resembled a leaping pink panther when viewed closely.
