Christie’s Geneva auctions in May gathered over 2,500 guests and generated US$98 million sales. The three sales attracted registered bidders from 57 countries and regions, while 20 percent of them were new to Christie’s.
Highlights of the auctions as below:
- Harry Winston’s 50.47-carat diamond ring, US$6.5 million (photo 1)
- Fancy vivid yellow diamond ring of 20.49 carats, US$5.5 million (photo 2)
- Fancy intense purplish pink diamond ring of 8.52 carats, US$6.2 million (photo 3)
- Tiffany & Co.’s important late 19th-century emerald and diamond necklace, US$ 1.5 million (photo 4)
