Organised by the Federal Association of the Precious Stones and Diamond Industry, the 49th German Award for Jewellery and Precious Stones Idar-Oberstein 2018 and the 30th German Young Talent Competition for Gemstone and Jewellery Design Idar-Oberstein 2018 are calling for entries.
Themed “Different faces” and “Changing colors” respectively, the 49th German award and the 30th German young talent contest are open to international jewellery and gemstone designers, goldsmiths and silversmiths. Each contestant can submit as much as four entries in precious metals with gemstones. The use of synthetic gems is only allowed for the young talent contest.
Three prizes of a total amount of 8,000 euro and 3,000 euro will be awarded to the German award and the young talent contest respectively.
Submission will be close on 5 September 2018.
