The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) has announced the honorees of its 2018 Excellence Awards scholarships. 45 women, including 12 students in the industry were awarded a total of US$65,500 on 16 July at the Chelsea Piers in New York City. “It is important WJA encourages and continues to support the professional growth and educational endeavours of women in the jewellery and watch industries,” said Jenny Luker, WJA’s board president.
The scholarship (US$5,000 or above) winners as below:
The June Herman Designer/Creator Scholarship Award (US$7,000)
