Dior unveils a new ‘Tête de Mort’ jewellery collection as a new interpretation of the traditional memento mori jewellery dates back to the 15th century for reminding wearers their existence. The jewellery is designed by Dior’s creative director, Victoire de Castellane, comprises three rings and matching pendants. Each colour stands for a state of mind: blue chalcedony for strength, pink quartz for tranquility and amethyst purple for equilibrium. The baby blue skull wears a crown of lily, one of Mr Dior’s favourite flowers, as well as the four-leaf clover dangling in the amethyst purple skull.
